Yale SOMF+F Mechanical Awarded Yale School of Management
New Haven, CT - F+F Mechanical was selected to furnish and install a new state of the art HVAC system along with all associated ductwork at the new campus for the Yale School of Management. The new 242,000 sf structure, known as Edward P. Evans Hall, has a striking modern design with a nearly all glass facade. The interior is organized with classrooms, faculty offices, academic centers and student and faculty meeting spaces surrounding a welcoming enclosed courtyard.

The scope of the project for F+F involves furnishing and installing a state of the art humidity controlled HVAC system that combines custom air handlers with chilled air beam technology and a radiant heating and cooling system. The project will be coordinated using BIM technology to meet an aggressive schedule.

The project broke ground in May of 2011 and is scheduled for completion in 2013.

The project will be managed by Construction Manager Dimeo Construction. The architect is Foster and Partners/ Gruzen Samton, LLP. The Mechanical Engineer is Buro Happold.
